Evangelist Tarry L. Jackson

Evangelist Tarry L. Jackson was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina. She attended the Florence County schools and graduated from West Florence High School. Immediately upon graduation she enlisted in the United States Army. She served 15 years in the United States Army and 2 years in the United States Army Reserves where she received an honorable discharge and a host of awards. Her tours of travel were Fort Dix, New Jersey; Fort Meade, Maryland; Honduras; Germany, Fort Benning, Georgia; Korea, Tacoma Washington and Korea (2nd tour).

She was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost in 1991 at Lakewood United Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Pastor David Daprone. She was called into the ministry in 1993 while under the leadership of Bishop Curtis E. Montgomery, Pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church, Tacoma, Washington.

She was licensed as an Evangelist with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in 2000 while under the leadership of the late Dr. Harold E. Sawyer, Sr., Pastor of Greater Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church, Florence, South Carolina.

Evangelist Jackson loves the Lord and loves preaching his unadulterated word. She is a very ardent church worker, serving in many capacities including Fist Lady, Sunday School Teacher, Altar Worker, and Praise and Worship Leader. Evangelist Jackson is married to Bishop Joe Jackson, Sr., Pastor of Prayer and Faith Temple Apostolic Church, Hopkins, South Carolina. Together they are the parents of four boys; Joe Jr., Christopher, Terrance and Quentin.
